I went through the Soviet education system growing up, and much prefer their way of teaching math. I home-schooled my boys with this method and sent them to the Russian School of Math on Sundays. They’ll thank me later!

I’ve spent the past 20 years doing what I love: developing some of the most successful skincare and haircare brands on the market. When I serendipitously reunited with some former beauty colleagues (including our Creative Director Sawori Nomoto) and they asked me to help create the beautiful Better Natured brand, I jumped on the opportunity!

I’ve been a stylist for over 30 years and worked in research and development for several beauty and personal care brands. I’ve done photoshoots, worked hair shows nationwide, and even did makeovers on American Idol contestants—I made them all sing!

Something No One At Work Knows About You
I used to compete in marathon canoe racing and was ranked in the top three for my age group nationally. I guess you could say I went from paddling to packaging! Now, it’s packaging that really floats my boat!
